Sanitary floor hatch “Barrier” for tiling and other floor coverings, with a filled metal lid is installed in openings in wooden and concrete floors. Sealing tape around the entire perimeter of the hatch prevents the entry of moisture, odors, dirt and dust.
The hatch cover can be opened with a T-handle (included). Ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, natural stone and other facing material can be glued on the lid. The ability to place the finishing materials overlapping allows you to make the hatch invisible.
Metal floor hatch “Barrier” is assembled from aluminum profile, without the use of welding, on embedded elements. This avoids deformation of the hatch and preservation of geometric proportions.

- Position the hatch frame in the floor opening so that its edge is flush with the floor covering;
- fix the frame in such a way that the load rests on the main floor structure;
- After adjusting the height of the threaded bushing with the plug screw to the level of the finish, secure its position with the lock nut;
- fill the hatch cover to the required height with sand concrete (to lighten the covers of large sizes, add expanded clay to the mixture);
- after the aggregate has hardened, drill a hole in it for the threaded bushing and install a suitable piece of floor covering, cut at an angle of 15-20°, on the manhole cover.
