Access panel for faceades MPWD

The access panel features aluminum profiles and a cement-bonded construction panel. It has a round cylinder lever lock with a key. The two frames of the panel are each made of four individual parts that are connected using a special welding process. To prevent accidents, the access panel is equipped with a latch that must be re-hung after each time the door leaf is opened.

A 3 mm air gap is present between the frame and the door leaf. This gap is fitted with a newly developed special brush seal and an additional special seal. The panel can be used as an external facade flap, either fixed directly to solid walls without insulation or installed in full thermal insulation from 80 mm thick.

The access panel is driving rain-proof according to EN 1027. It has a classification of Class 2A according to EN 12208 when used with the round cylinder lock, and a classification of Class 5A according to EN 12208 without considering the lock variants.
