A floor hatch XXL series with gas springs or an electric lifting mechanism and a metal-checkered plate covering is a convenient and practical solution for accessing basements or utility rooms. The hatch’s structure is specially designed so that the final 5 mm thick metal checkered plate covers the entire surface of the hatch frame.
Between the hatch frame and the door, two layers of special sealing rubbers are glued along the perimeter, ensuring water resistance and preventing dust and dirt from getting inside the hatch.
The hatch does not require additional final finishing; after installation into a specially prepared opening, the hatch is immediately ready for use.
The hatch cover can withstand a load of up to 1200 kg (can be increased).

Residential homes and cottages: access to basements, cellars, and inspection pits.
Garages and workshops: access to utility lines, ancillary rooms.
Commercial properties: access to technical floors, storage rooms.
Options for opening systems:
• Gas springs (standard configuration);
• Electric lifting mechanism (electric motor) with a remote control (optional feature).
Additional Equipment:
• Option to manufacture the hatch with a door opening angle less than 90 degrees (standard configuration is 90 degrees);
• Painting the frame and metal checkered plate in a RAL palette color (standard configuration is black);
• Insulating the underside of the hatch door;
• Installing a loop handle on the underside of the hatch door;

| The options for installing the hatch flush with the finished floor covering in the room depend on how the hatch frame is manufactured: | |
| A) hatch frame made of L-profile. in the case of an already finished floor – it is necessary to mill a groove around the entire perimeter of the installation size, 35 mm wide and 13 mm deep (for hatches where one side is less than 2 meters) and 15 mm deep (for hatches where one side is more than 2 meters). After that, place the hatch into the recess and secure it to the floor with anchors around the perimeter through special holes in the hatch frame; |

| If there’s no need to create a flush floor level with the hatch, then you don’t need to mill a groove. The hatch is simply placed on top of the opening and secured to the floor through the special holes. | |
| B) hatch frame made of profile pipe – the installation size will be the full size of the hatch. In this case, the hatch is lowered into the opening until the hatch door is flush with the floor covering. Then, the hatch frame is mounted to the inner sides of the opening walls through special slots/tabs on the profile pipe. It is necessary to ensure that the hatch can be secured in the opening on all four sides. | |
