Installation Instruction for floor hatch Series Zn/Roostevaba
- Check the completeness of the delivery (4 lifting keys, screws + caps, reinforcement grid each).
- For covers made of stainless steel or galvanized steel, bend the wall anchors to ensure reliable anchoring in
the concrete later. - Remove the caps and screws, open the cover with the lifting keys, and take the tray out of the outer frame.
- Place the manhole cover in the recess on the floor and align it flush with the height of the finished floor
covering. There should be at least 130 mm space all around for concreting. - Close the cover and fasten the screws and caps. Check the correct position of the manhole cover again.
- Place the reinforcement grid in the tray, fill the tray completely or up to the lower edge of the finished
floor covering, and completely concrete the manhole cover all around or up to the lower edge of the
finished floor covering. Ensure that the reinforcement grid is completely encased in concrete and protect
the screws and edges from concrete splashes. - Allow the concrete to fully harden. Once the frame has a firm connection with the concrete, the manhole
cover can no longer slip. - Once the concrete has reached approximately 80% of its strength, clean the visible surfaces of the manhole
cover. - After complete hardening, finish the final floor covering in the tray and all around. Clean the remaining
part of the manhole cover, close it, and fasten the screws and caps.
