Fire-resistant Floor Hatch Tule Amort Plus EI90

SKU: id9906

Fire-resistant Fillable Floor Hatch on Gas Springs Tule Amort Plus EI90.

Fire protection class: EI90. The hatch frame is equipped with a special circumferential frost and weather-resistant EPDM gasket, which is waterproof and largely odor-resistant. The hatch is laid into a prepared recess in the floor, the upper edge of the hatch cover is leveled flush with the level of the future finished floor covering. The hatch cover and the perimeter around the hatch are filled with concrete either completely or up to the lower edge of the future finished floor covering. After the solution has fully hardened, the finished floor covering is laid in the tray and around the entire perimeter.

The access hatch cover is designed for frequent and easy opening by one person and has additional transverse ribs for reinforcement. Opening is carried out by screwing lifting keys into special holes in the corners of the hatch cover. Gas springs provide smooth and easy opening. A special bracket fixes the hatch in the open position, preventing accidental slamming shut.

The hatch can be opened from the outside and inside as well.

Load up to 125 kN test force according to EN 124 (class B125), which means it is traversable by passenger cars.

Lifting keys, fastening anchors, gas springs, and reinforcing mesh are included in the set.

Custom dimensions are available upon request. Minimal dimensions 600 х 600 mm. Maximum dimensions 1000 х 1000 mm (or 800 х 1200 mm).

Tiles, concrete, synthetic resin, granite, wood, and other hard floor coverings.

When installing the hatch, you need to ensure at least 130 mm of free space around the perimeter of the hatch frame for concrete pouring.

Dimensions 1200 × 1330 cm

Attention: When installing, use only tools designed for stainless steel processing and used exclusively for these purposes. Contact of stainless steel with iron (even through the smallest particles on tools) can cause localized corrosion.

Gas springs should only be installed after the concrete in the tray and around the outer frame has hardened, as otherwise the frame may deform!

  1. Check the completeness of the delivery. (2 gas springs, lifting key, impact pins, screws + caps, 1 reinforcing mesh)
  2. Bend the wall anchors to ensure a secure hold in the concrete later.
  3. Place the hatch cover into the prepared recess in the floor and level it flush with the height of the future finished floor covering. There should be at least 130 mm of free space around for concrete pouring. Attention: Gas springs can only be installed after complete concreting!
  4. Fix the hatch cover on the fastening anchors on the hinge side using the supplied impact pins. To do this, place a compensation plate underneath, drill holes, drive in the pins, and tighten the screws.
  5. Open the cover using the lifting keys and install the formwork inside the frame.
  6. Close the cover and secure the screws and protective caps. Check the correct position of the hatch cover once more. The upper edge of the hatch cover must be flush with the level of the future finished floor covering.
  7. Place the reinforcing mesh into the tray. Fill the tray completely or fill up to the lower edge of the future finished floor covering. Concrete the hatch cover around the perimeter completely or up to the lower edge of the finished floor covering. Ensure that the reinforcing mesh is completely covered with concrete, and protect the screws and edges from concrete splashes.
  8. Allow the concrete to fully harden. Once the frame is firmly connected to the concrete, the hatch cover will no longer be able to shift. When the concrete reaches approximately 80% of its strength, clean the visible surfaces of the hatch cover. Attention: Contact of stainless steel with iron (even through the smallest particles on tools) can cause localized corrosion.
  9. After the concrete has fully hardened, complete the laying of the finished floor covering in the tray and around the entire perimeter.
  10. Remove the protective caps and screws, then open the cover. Remove the formwork.
  11. Remove the warning sticker from the gas springs and install the gas springs on the upper and lower brackets. The black cylinder should be at the top.
  12. Close the cover, then reinsert the screws and protective caps. You can now clean the remaining part of the hatch cover.

Manufacturer's Recommendation: Stainless steel products should be cleaned at least once a year and treated with a stainless steel protection agent to extend the product's lifespan.
